Growing up in Dallas, I grew up accustomed to pigging out on Mexican dining that my family enjoyed on a regular basis. Everything from Tacos packed with meat, cheese smothered enchiladas, and all the desserts you could think of.  I really spiraled out of control after I got married and had my beautiful twin boys. I gained 122 pounds, mostly in the tummy region, immediately after my pregnancy, and even though I tried every diet imaginable, it seemed like for every 10 pounds I lost, I would gain back 20.

Between me trying to advance my career and take care of the kids, I found myself hardly having time to prepare dinner, so I was constantly in the fast food drive through window, ordering takeout food, and of course, my favorite Mexican dishes. If I found myself feeling lethargic around the house, I would quickly down a soda and keep going. I eventually found myself drinking almost a full six-pack of soda a day! I was only 35, and I was weighing in at a little over 257 pounds. On top of that, I had allergies, asthma, sore knees, and migraines that made it impossible at times to get through the day. To make matters worse, due to my “conditioning”, I could not even play with my kids. I hit rock bottom when I offered to walk my older daughter to school and she told me “no, that’s ok”, because she was too ashamed to be seen with me.

My Motivation To Suddenly Reduce Tummy Fat

When my best friend was diagnosed with diabetes, it hit me like a ton of bricks. If I continued living this unhealthy lifestyle, I would be putting myself at an extreme risk, and my kids might end up without their mother. That thought scared the hell out of me. It was right during this time that I stumbled onto an article in a magazine at the doctor’s office,  about a woman who dramatically slimmed down using a simple natural weight loss program designed specifically to reduce tummy fat. At first glance, the program seemed really simple. But in these days of diet gimmicks and scams, who knows.
